Merkur Extends Its Range of Regional Foods from Salzburg
Austrial retailer Merkur has increased the range of locally-produced food in its offering.
For exampla, since the beginning of 2019, Merkur has sold around 500,000 products that are produced in the Salzburg area, the retailer explained.
Merkur’s range includes 280 product rangest hat are local to the Salzburg area, particularly sausages, cheese, honey, yoghurt and eggs, produced by 30 local manufacturers.
Customers at Merkur can recognise local products from the Salzburg area with the help of a new label ’SalzburgerLand Herkunftszertifikat’.
