Praktiker’s new owner expands in Romania
Within two years, the Turkish Search Chemicals, which is new owner of Praktiker in Romania plans to open 18 new stores – the retailnet.eu portal wrote.
The DIY store chain currently has 27 units in Romania, its annual turnover is around 140 million euros. The retailnet.eu reported that the company closed the first half of this year with an operating profit of 2.7 million euros.
The Search Chemicals was registered in Romania in 2003, the company is 95 percent owned by Ömer Süsli, former president of the Association of Turkish Businessmen in Romania. (MTI)
