A festive season starts with a wide fish selection

This year’s fish production is of the highest quality, the selection is even more abundant than last year, and there is no problem with quantity as well – Lévai Ferenc, spokesman for the Hungarian Aquaculture and Fisheries Intergroup (MA-HAL) told.

An article in the Thursday issue said that at this time, about 30-35 percent of the annual total fish would be bought right before the Christmas holidays. Annual domestic production ranges from 12.5 to 13.5 thousand tons, of which about 2-3 thousand tons are exported. (origo)
