Wine harvest at Auchan: if it’s October, it’s a wine fair
Auchan’s wine and champagne selection also competes with specialty stores. 150 Hungarian wineries are represented in approx. With 1,000 types of wine and 200 types of champagne, including many new ones. In addition to the large wine fair in October, several smaller ones are held throughout the year, but the festival, which lasts until October 25, is unmissable for wine lovers with its incredibly wide, high-quality and reasonably priced offer.
Auchan has been increasing its share of the wine and champagne market for years, thanks to its wide selection, favorable prices and the distribution of novelties. Among the champagnes, for example, this year’s new product, Törley Ice, which quickly became popular, appeared here for the first time. They currently work with 150 Hungarian winemakers and offer 1,000 types of wine and nearly 200 champagnes throughout the year, which is double the selection of other retail chains. The range also includes international wines, as well as drinks from the most important French wine regions. This is supplemented by seasonal products, which can usually be bought at a discount. The range is approx. 12-15% of them are changed every year, so customers have constant access to newly discovered and liked juices. The fact that they often hold wine fairs contributes to the success, the October wine fair is currently in stores.
