Borsodi Brewery: joint steps in the name of sustainability
In accordance with its long-term sustainability goals, the Borsodi Brewery organized the already traditional “Our Imprint” sustainability month in September this year. This year, the employees of the brewery collected support for organizations such as the PET Cup, the Mály Nature Conservation Association, and Életet az Évekenk Bőcsi Pensioners’ Association. In addition, the Borsodi Brewery continued its more than five-year cooperation with the Magyar Élélmiszerbank Egyesület.
The Borsodi Brewery, which turns 50 this year, again organized its sustainability month called “Our Imprint”, as in previous years, which this time also included many activities. On September 22, a sports and health day was organized for the company’s employees in Bőcsön, where they could try a number of sports and participate in health screenings. In addition, a blood donation was organized in cooperation with the Hungarian Red Cross, in the framework of which nearly 40 Borsodis employees helped.
In the spirit of sustainability month, the colleagues of the Borsodi Brewery were able to collect support for the organizations of their choice for the first time this year through a “step challenge” competition. During the initiative, employees could track their daily step count by registering in an application, by specifying which organization they support during registration. The organizations that collected the most steps could receive the support offered by the Borsodi Brewery.
