Excellent wines in Auchan stores

In October Minister of Agriculture Dr Sándor Fazekas opened the Auchan wine fair. During the fair outstanding Hungarian wines featured in the ministry’s Book of Excellent Wines were sold with promotional Excellent Wine stickers on them. The wine fair lasted for two weeks in all 19 Auchan stores. Auchan Hungary CEO Dominique Ducoux told: they are proud of the fact that 96 percent of the wines they sell are Hungarian. They try to establish direct connections with wine suppliers and Auchan is open to working with small Hungarian wineries too. Only quality wines can make it into Auchan’s private label wine selection – three times Hungarian champion sommelier Mihály Fabók makes sure of this
