Wine Archive and Wine Safe in Eger

A wine safe that can store more than seven thousand bottles, and a wine archive was created in the cellar of the Hotel Szent István in Eger.

24 niches out of 36 are already loaded with the finest wines of the best winemakers of the Eger Wine Region – Kecskés Tamás, chief winemaker of the Wine Safe told MTI, on Tuesday.

The hotel operators won 50 million HUF support in the scope of the Northern Hungarian Operational Programme of the New Széchenyi Plan. The total cost of the project is 100 million HUF – he added. (MTI)
