Most of the Hungarian grapes will finish as wine
Harvest is coming within weeks. According to experts, this year’s yield will be better than average on the that the total area of 60 thousand hectares of vines. It is encouraging that the majority of the 80 thousand domestic producers have ann increasing professional competence in the field of pest control.
Last year's wet autumn had a negative impact on the ripening of comma, while this year's cool spring, delayed sprouding. The grape growers therefore started the season with a major disadvantage – Vajkóné Tarjányi Judit, Northern Hungarian regional representative of Syngenta told at a professional program series, that were started in Tolcsva and Noszvaj.
