Bokros Lajos stood beside for the privatization of the Hungarian sugar factories
Bokros Lajos, Board member of the the former State Property Agency former Finance Minister stood in for the privatization of the Hungarian sugar factories on Friday in Budapest, in front of the parliamentary committee of inquiry, investigating the privatization of the sugar industry.
According to the former Finance Minister; in the beginning of the 90s there was an agreement at ÁVÜ, that the privatisation of the sugar factories is important. The primary concern at the privatization was not the the maximization of the purchase price but to enhancing the income-generating ability. He also pointed out that the privatization of sugar factories has nothing to do with the closure of the factories – reports MTI.
