(HU) Bojár Gábor: „Van rá sansz, hogy én leszek a legjobb”
What makes a good leader? When does one have to pass the torch? What business opportunities hide behind a good idea and when do one has to take it to the market? This week’s FutureTalks guest was Gábor Bojár businessman, founder of Graphisoft softver development firm.

Gábor Bojár, founder of Graphisoft
Graphisoft was once discovered even by Steve Jobs. In 1993, the firm presented a 3D-modelling softver on an exhibition in Munich. Apple planned to launch Macintosh the following year, and Graphisoft fitted in their concept perfectly.
Gábor Bojár talked a lot about his two books which deal with the story behind Graphisoft.
– The aim of the first book was to help next generations to make new ’graphisofts’. A book, a story can inspire many people. The first book became a huge success among enterpreneurs, says Gábor Bojár.
Although he did not think that the second book can be interesting for a wider public, his publisher said that this book was much more exciting than the first one, as there are very few books about changing of generations and giving over the leadership.
– I write how all these can be experienced as a success. You shouldn’t stop at the top, but at the time when others do it better than you.

Being the best
Gábor Bojár founded a higher educational institute as well. Here, students learn about how to build a bridge over the gapof scientific and business thinking. Today, the world’s leading universities buy the training model.
– We created the best 3D architect planning program in the world. This is a very narrow market, so there is a chance that I will be the best in it, Bojár highlights.
Change is the only permanent thing
Founder of Graphisoft thinks that being able to adapt to a fast changing environment, we need to acquire the skill of learning new things.
– We are at the beginning of a revolution which has a huge impact on our future. Although Klaus Schwab, founder of World Economic Forum called this era ’The 4th Industrial Revolution’,he was mistaken. These revolutions are about production. However, there is one thing which has had a much stronger impact on our fate, and that is information. Getting the right information means tremendous power. We gave the power of building information to the hands of the architects.
