BMI: Further improvement in May
The Purchasing Managers’ Index (BMI) seasonally adjusted For May is 52.8.
Compared to previous Mays, this year’s figure is above the long-term May average (52.4) and above the average for the past three years (50.4).
Almost all of the sub-indices surveyed increased compared to April, with four cases up 5 percentage points.
The employment index was above 50.0 points this month for the first time in a month.
