BMI: moderate slowdown in January
In January the seasonally adjusted Purchasing Manager Index (BMI) stood at 49.9.

Respondents reported a slowdown and a trend similar to stagnation in January compared to the previous month. However, six indexesw are still in upturn territory. The volume of new orders has increased modestly, with the index value falling by 2.2 percentage points. Production volume is showing signs of expansion again, with this month’s index value dropping 2 percentage points compared to the previous month. Employment is above 50 points, with the index value increasing by 0.3 percentage points. //
