According to the business information provider’s announcement, the number of operators in the country fell by 47,000 in four years, but the pace of decline has slowed down considerably in 2016, as the number of companies fell by only a half, as in 2015. At the end of last year, there were 514,000 operating companies, while at the end of the first quarter there were nearly 515,000 registered companies. However, compared to a year earlier, there are still fewer companies operating in Hungary, but the change is less than 1 percent. (MTI)
