Bisnode: the number of firms decreased last year
The number of active companies between January 2014 and January 2015 decreased by 2.55 percent to 543,692 firms in Hungary – the Bisnode international company rating firm told MTI on Tuesday.
A few years ago, the Hungarian economy was characterized by steadily growing in the umber of the companies, however, the trend was reversed in 2014, and the number of businesses started to decline. The Bisnode analysis indicate that the decline in the number of firms is not a negative process in itself, if it contributes to create a smaller but more stable corporate world in long-terms. (MTI)
