Bisnode: the willingness to start a business declined in the first half of the year
Compared to the first half of 2019, there were 14.7 percent fewer new enterprises, a total of 12,743 new enterprises, were established, which is more than two thousand less than in the previous year. Meanwhile, 2,352 companies were liquidated, 9,344 were forcibly liquidated, 7,041 companies were liquidated, and 12 went bankrupt, so compared to the same period last year, there were 7,272 fewer companies operating in Hungary at the end of the first half of 2020, according to the Bisnode group.
