According to the Hungarian Association of Brewers; the extension of the chips tax on flavored beers causes a competitive disadvantage, does not serve the original purpose of tax and means the excessive taxation of the product category.
The government submitted the amendment on the tax laws to the Parliament last Friday. This contains that the amount of the public health product fee in case of flavored beer and alcoholic refreshment will be 20 HUF per liter – reports MTI.
