Organic food products: the EU would tighten the rules
The EU would tighten the rules of the certification system of organic food products because, according to the Commission, some of the products do not meet the criterias of the consumers – Világgazdaság Online wrote.
The change may also affect the food ingredients, certain flavorings and colorings may be banned.
In the future, only conventional or organic food products could be grown on an agricultural area. With the step, the EU would prevent the accidental or unintentional mixing of two kinds. (Braunmüller Lajos, Világgazdaság Online)
