Lidl is developing a biodiversity standard
The new set of requirements is expected to be available to all producers by the end of 2021 as an additional module to the Integrated GLOBALG.A.P. Farm Assurance Standard (IFA). As part of its sustainability strategy, Lidl also wants to contribute to the protection of biodiversity.
Biodiversity loss poses an existential threat to ecosystems. Lidl is aware of its responsibility to preserve ecosystems.
