Attila Bicsár designed OMV’s latest gourmet range
OMV is working with a new gastro ambassador: Attila Bicsár, the creative chef of Sauska48, put together the exclusive offer of the gas station network. In the new gourmet sandwich and salad offer, you can find both meat and vegetarian options. From September 1, Attila Bicsár’s gourmet range is available at 72 filling stations across the country.
The gourmet selection has a strong tradition at OMV filling stations in Hungary: the first collection was launched in the spring of 2018, and since then the range has been continuously updated every quarter. From September, visitors to the wells will be greeted by a renewed concept: Attila Bicsár, the creative chef of the Sauska48 restaurant in Villány, designed and assembled the menu with exciting ideas.
The latest gourmet offer – in which both fans of meat and vegetarian dishes can find their favorite – started with two sandwiches and salads each. At the Village gourmet baguette, a sourdough half-baguette contains torn ribs, pearl onions and cooked, smoked Caesar bacon, which are completed with ajvar and aioli sauce. The Goat Cheese Croissant with Spicy Pear Chutney makes its debut as a vegetarian sandwich: here, a multi-seed pastry is spread with curd cream cheese, then flavored with Greek goat cheese, baby spinach and spicy pear sauce. In terms of salads, the Chicken salad with mango and curry sauce will be available – and for meat-free diners, the Vegan quinoa salad.
