Palestinian hotels have been closed
The new coronary virus has emerged in the West Bank, the Palestinian Authority announced, and hotels have been shut down because of a pandemic threat, an online version of the Israeli newspaper Jediót Ahronót announced on Thursday. Foreign tourists are prohibited from entering the entire Palestinian Authority from Thursday.
On Thursday, 21 members of a group of Greek pilgrims, after returning home, were found to be carriers of the virus. The group visited Israel and the Palestinian Authority between 19-27 February.
Israel extended an entry ban to South Korea on 22 February, after several Christians returning from an Israeli pilgrimage discovered the disease in their homeland before they landed in a heavily infected community. (Shiri Zsuzsa, MTI)
