Meat processing company JBS to close its plant-based food business in the USA
After two years, Brazilian meat processing company JBS SA is closing its US plant-based foods business, called Planterra Foods. This move indicates that there are problems in the plant-based sector in the USA. Planterra sold a meat alternative under the Ozo brand, but from now JBS will focus on its plant-based operations in Brazil and Europe.
