Balatonalmádi’s Popular Vegan Restaurant is closed
Veganeeta Home, the restaurant known for its purely plant-based food, will open its doors for the last time in Balatonalmádi on September 29. The decision was made by dr. Anita Árvai, the owner and founder of the restaurant, announced it on her social media pages, which was spotted by welovebalaton.hu.
Regarding the restaurant, which is closing in its seventh year, Anita referred to personal life challenges, as well as the current difficulties of catering and the rising costs.
Veganeeta Home opened its doors in downtown Almadi in April 2018 and quickly became a popular place among locals and tourists alike. Due to its popularity, it often happened that they could not accommodate all guests.
Although the restaurant is closed, Dr. Anita Árvai remains active in the world of gastronomy. He currently focuses on various programs, cooking classes and events, and mentions new projects he is already working on.
