One of the best Hungarian restaurants is closing
One of the best Hungarian restaurants, Mór24, will close in its current form in Balatonfüred.
The owners of the restaurant, Tamás Albrecht and Edit Almás, shared the news in a statement:
“In the summer of 2020, when we embarked on perhaps the biggest challenge of our lives, our love project, the number one multiplier of our gray hairs and laugh lines, we had no idea how difficult it would be to say what we are preparing for in 3 years. Just as every meal has a beginning and an end, neither does the history of a restaurant may it last forever. MÓR24 says goodbye to you in its current form”.
Although no new Hungarian restaurant received a Michelin star this year, Mór24, among others, retained its Bib Gourmand designation. (Bib Gourmand is a Michelin recognition given to restaurants that offer high quality food at an affordable price.)
