Christmas season can bring revenue record in the German stores
In Germany, the turnover of stores may exceed 80 billion euros for the first time this year during the Christmas season. Due to the expected consumer rush several ten thousand stores all across the country will increase their workforce.
According to the forecast of the National Association of German Retailers (HDE), the turnover of stores from the beginning of November until Christmas can be 80.4 billion euros, which is a 1.5 percent growth, compared to the previous year. Within this, online store sales may increase from last year’s 6.5 billion euros to 7.4 billion euros. (MTI)
