Bacardi broke into the tequila market
Bacardi joined the fast growing sector of the tequila. The world’s two largest distillers united and the Gray Goose vodka, Dewar Scotch, Bacardi rum and the famous Patrón tequila came under the same flag – origo wrote.
Mahesh Madhavan, Chief Executive Officer of Bacardi said that the prestigious brand increase Bacardi’s global presence via the merger. According to the 2017 data of the IRI research firm, Bacardi covers 5.8 percent of the alcoholic beverage market.
The Bermuda-based company already sells tequila, the Cazadores and Corzo, in addition more than two hundred brands belong to Bacardi. (origo)
