Introducing hydration in style – Mineral water in aluminium can packaging is going to be a big hit on TV
Veritas Mineral Water plays a key role in keeping the body hydrated. In our interview with Dr Zsófia Szlávik, head of marketing at Aqua Lorenzo Kft., we discuss the brand’s present and future.
– How does Veritas Mineral Water fit into health trends?
– Regular daily consumption of refreshing Veritas mineral water fits into the current health trends, which say women should drink 2.7 litres of liquid per day and men should have 3.7 litres of liquid a day, ideally mineral water with a balanced mineral content.
– What should we pay attention to when it comes to the mineral composition of waters? Where does Veritas mineral water’s silky taste come from and what health/nutritional benefits does it have?
– It is important to know that consuming large quantities of certain minerals can have adverse health effects. Veritas premium mineral waters have a balanced mineral content and a remarkably low sodium level (9mg/l), making them an ideal choice for consumers of all lifestyles and diets. The soft and silky taste of the product is due to this low sodium content.
– What are your latest innovations – in terms of packaging, presentation or contents?
– In addition to the Veritas 1.5l and 0.5l PET bottle formats, we have rolled out a carbonated 0.25l aluminium can version as well. The product is characterised by a stylish, premium look and feel, and inside shoppers find the same refreshing, silky taste and crystal clear mineral water as in the PET bottle variants.
– What are the production characteristics of Veritas mineral waters in aluminium can?
– From a depth of 71m two Veritas wells gives us the crystal clear, premium quality, refreshing mineral water, which has been intact since the Ice Age. The water is canned using our high production capacity aluminium can production line.
– What kind of exciting media presence are you planning for Veritas?
– As passionate advocates of beauty, elegance and health, we are delighted to announce that our premium Veritas 0.25l aluminium can carbonated and 0.5l litre PET bottle non-carbonated products will be making a big splash on TV, sponsoring this spring’s Next Topmodel Hungary programme, which will be aired on TV2 in the near future.
– What products are you planning to launch?
– We wish to expand the Veritas mineral water line, starting with the 0.25l aluminium can range. We are planning to introduce the 0.25l Veritas still and 0.25l Veritas spritzer water products.
– What are your long-term innovation directions?
– We consider it an important mission to do our part to contribute to the circular economy, sustainability and environmental protection. We wish to do this partly via packaging, by broadening the range of our aluminium can products, because aluminium is a material that can be recycled almost infinitely. Aqua Lorenzo Kft. is introducing production in PET bottles made from 100% recycled plastic. From 1 July 2024, consumers can buy a large part of our brands in 100% recycled PET bottles. (x)
