The website of the Hungarian food book was presented
On Friday, the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) presented the website of the Hungarian food book, which provides assistance in getting to know the foods and food ingredients sold in Hungary and guides you through the various product labels.
Beáta Olga Felkai, the deputy state secretary responsible for food chain supervision at the Ministry of Agriculture, said at the presentation: the website was created because consumers have become more and more aware, but they need adequate information for this.
The Hungarian Food Book is a collection of legislation that provides guidelines to manufacturers and information to the public about products of the expected, reliable quality, the characteristics of their ingredients, their fair production practices and the test methods to be used during their inspection. The website related to the collection is primarily aimed at consumers, it provides information about the book, related organizations and scientific committees, and it also contains news and interesting facts – explained the deputy state secretary.
