Müller UK & Ireland Agrees To Acquire Biotiful Gut Health
Müller UK & Ireland has agreed to acquire kefir brand Biotiful Gut Health for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition will allow Müller UK & Ireland to enter the functional health yoghurt and drinks segment.
Biotiful Gut Health produces a wide range of kefir and other natural gut health products.
Founded in 2012, the company has received multiple-award winning business. The deal will allow the dairy company to address more consumer needs across the category.
Richard Williams, CEO of Müller Yogurt and Desserts stated, “This is a business which fits really well within our existing portfolio of brands. We are already growing and optimising our range of health and nutrition products and Biotiful Gut Health will really help us expand into new growth areas to meet changing consumer needs.
“We’re confident that our investment in Biotiful will enable the brand to further accelerate its growth potential, benefitting both consumers and our retail partners.”

Post the acquisition, Biotiful Gut Health will continue to operate as usual, the dairy giant added.
Founder, Natasha Bowes, will continue to support the team in an advisory capacity to ensure a smooth transition.
Müller yoghurts and desserts CEO, Richard Williams, will join the existing leadership team to help it unlock future growth ambitions.
