The LinkedIn follower base of the top managers of the largest large domestic companies is expanding intensively, while their activity is also growing dynamically, according to Uniomedia’s recent LinkedIn Top List of Top Managers research, which analyzes the LinkedIn profiles of more than 200 top managers of the TOP 50 domestic companies for the second time. During the study, they analyzed the number of followers of CEOs, communication and marketing managers, HR managers and finance managers and the amount of interactions that came to their posts.

Gabriella Heiszler from Spar also has a lot of followers

Data from a study conducted between June and August 2022 by analyzing the LinkedIn pages of the CEOs, HR, finance, and communication and marketing managers of the largest Hungarian corporations show a rapid increase in the importance of LinkedIn use. Uniomedia’s research not only examined the size of the follower base of the top managers of the largest Hungarian companies, but also the ratio of likes, comments, and shares to their posts compared to the number of their followers. The latter value, the so-called “follower engagement rate” shows the effectiveness of communication on a professional social platform; refers to the active professional network of the given manager, and a high value contributes to further growth in the number of followers. If the indicator in question is between 10-15 percent, it indicates average activity, while a high rate testifies to an intensive professional relationship system that is also active on digital platforms, suggesting a conscious strategy.

Based on the ratio of engagement and number of followers, just like last year, Tibor Rékasi, CEO of Magyar Telekom, leads the list with a ratio of 90%*. From last year’s TOP5, he is the only leader who was included in the overall engagement-based list in 2022, which shows that the field is changing dynamically as LinkedIn use develops. In this year’s total, Péter Pantl, MOL’s communications director, came second, while Alfons Dintner, CEO of Audi, became the imaginary bronze medalist.
