PENNY opened a store in Békés county
On October 17, PENNY opened its newest store in Békés county, which provides convenient shopping opportunities for locals. The discount store offers high-quality and budget-friendly products, as well as a modern appearance. In its design, the company also kept the company’s sustainability goals and customers’ needs in mind.
In the new discount store, in addition to general foods, fresh vegetables mostly from domestic sources and many own-brand products are also available, such as the popular cold meats from Karát and Dárdás, available in renewed packaging. PENNY also prepares its customers with a range of products suitable for the current season. The big hit of autumn, pumpkins, are available in stores across the country at discounted prices. Halloween lovers can choose from discounted sweets, but outdoor and indoor decorations essential for the festive atmosphere can also be purchased during the season.
The appearance of the newest unit also ensures the standard of the other domestic stores, which underwent a facelift in 2023. The discount store located in Kossuth Lajos Street in Vészt was equipped with modern mechanical devices and a heat recovery system. Full LED lighting, photocell doors, and modern cooling and air conditioning equipment also contribute to the energy-efficient and sustainable operation of the building. The new store provides permanent and stable employment opportunities for 14 people, and several part-time colleagues are also employed.
