The campaign in the sugar factory in Kaposvár has ended

The campaign in the sugar factory of the Magyar Cukor (MC) Zrt. in Kaposvár has ended, in the country's only sugar factory123 thousand tons of sugar produced in 116 days.

Hájos László, Vice Operating Officer of MC Zrt. Told to MTI on Monday that they processed about 820 thousand tons of sugar beet.

He told that since the September start they was working in a continuous work schedule, in three working shifts. Beside the two hundred permanent employees approximately one seasonal hundred workers took part in the processing season – reports MTI.
