Poultry and rabbit: from backyard to the table

The Hungarikum Poultry (HU-BA) Program and teh “Our Rabbit fotr the Work” programs aim to revive the old traditions, helping families living in the poorer communities and the revive the poultry and rabbit breeding.
Rabbit meat and poultry consumption can be the basis of the more and more popular healthy lifestyle. Due to the low cholesterol content of rabbit meat, and thanks to its favorable nutrient composition, and negligible effect on allergens it is an ideal basis for a healthy and varied diet. For children and pregnant women its consumption is specifically recommended.
