Limitations in 16 settlements of Baranya county due to bluetongue disease
The food chain safety and animal health department of Baranya county introduced restrictions in sixteen settlements of Baranya county due to the spread of the bluetongue disease – the clerk of Pécs informed MTI on Monday.
Lovász István wrote in a statement that from the area of Áta, Berkesd, Birján, Egerág, Ellend, Hosszúhetény, Kisherend, Kozármisleny, Lothárd, Magyarsarlós, Nagykozár, Pécs, Pécsudvard, Pereked, Szemely, Szilágy it is prohibited to take ruminants out. The animals can only be transported to the slaughterhouse among specific conditions. (MTI)
