Balla Géza is the first wine producer beyond the borders, who won the prestigous award. The Wine Producer of the Year award was handed over for the 28th time this year.

The Hungarian winemakers consider the Wine Producer of the Year to be the most prestigious professional acknowledgment, it is also an important point of reference for the market and the consumers – the President of the Hungarian Academy of Wine (MBA) said before announcing the results on Wednesday in Budapest.
