Tourism Association of Lake Balaton: wages increased considerably, and the labor shortages can be handled
In the highlighted holiday area of Lake Balaton, wages have typically increased by 50 percent over the past two to three years, and labor shortages can be handled, the Balaton guesthouses are prepared for this season – Hoffmann Henrik, President of the Tourism Association of Lake Balaton (BTSZ) said at a press conference in Balatonföldvár on Friday.
Hoffmann Henrik, referring to the feedbacks of 3,000 BTSZ members of the 23 member organizations, refuted the press reports that one can reach up to one million HUF monthly salary at the Lake Balaton. (MTI)
