Balatoni Kör: The number of restaurateurs open all year round increased by 50 percent
Over the past five years, the number of catering units and wineries has increased by at least 50 percent that are open all year round – according to the announcement of the Balatoni Kör Foundation.
Kardos Gábor, spokesperson for the Balatoni Kör, aiming at the quality renewal of lakeside hospitality, explained to MTI that they would like to make sure that the summer of Lake Balaton does not end with the celebrations of the 20th of August. Climate change has caused the weather to become more extreme, the warm season begins more often, or lasts longer than the average. (MTI)
