The best new wine of the year came from Balatonfőkajár
The shiraz rosé wine of the Balatonfőkajár-based Feind Winehouse achieved the best result at the 10th Hungarian New Wine Competition. The awards of the competition were handed over on Saturday.
300 new wines of 100 wineries were competing at the wine competition. The jury was consisted of young winemakers. One Grand Gold and 36 Gold certifications were awarded. The 13 wines with the highest scores have earned the Best New Wine of 2015 recognition – Ferenc Vilmos, the event's chief organizer, member of the Hungarian Wine Academy told MTI. (MTI)
