Balaton Open

Zamárdi was the host of a special distillate and pálinka competition: only women were in the jury that evaluated the entries. Organiser Gábor Pach told: 29 female jury members tasted 130 samples of Balaton region spirits and rated them in a 40-point system. The organisers of Balaton Open ordered 250 bottles from the manufacturers of each category winner, to sell them in the summer high season. //
