X5 became Russia’s top e-grocery company in 2020
In 2020 the X5 Retail Group was the leading Russian online food retailer with a gross merchandise value (GMV) of EUR 240 million. Last year the company produced a 34-percent year-on-year increase in online GMV. X5 fulfilled 7.9 million e-grocery orders. The annual sales turnover for the entire Russian e-grocery segment amounted to EUR 1.7 billion in 2020, increasing by 3.6 times and gaining a 13-percent market share for X5.
