The EU approved the use of the new e-signature platform, the system that ensures the digital management of public administrative matters
Hungary will also be provided with fully digital EU administrative administration, electronic identification and digital signature thanks to the Evrotrust eID unified identification system, which has already passed the evaluation of the EU member states. The novelty of the system is that it can now be used not only by private individuals, but also by companies to manage their official and administrative affairs throughout the Union. The European Commission checked the EU use of the platform based on the eIDAS regulation, which means that it will soon be available to all member states.
The European Commission’s approval process will soon allow EU companies and individuals to digitally access public administration services in their own country and across the European Union, including healthcare, social benefits, education, taxation, with the help of Evrotrust’s eID system , the pension, and labor matters. What is new is that with this system – thanks to the uniform digital identification adopted in the Union – Hungarian businesses can also conduct business digitally and securely and provide services to their international customers, as it offers domestic and foreign companies a uniform, fast and simple process for signing contracts. while providing an opportunity to verify the customer’s identification. This change opens up new opportunities for seamless international expansion.
