Coca-Cola makea recycling popular
The incentive for members of the public to recycle more will be cash prizes of up to £18,000 for local Football League clubs to spend on youth development.
Coca-Cola Great Britain is launching an initiative under the
banner "Talent From Trash" in partnership with the Football League to encourage
fans to recycle more.
Thirteen football clubs and local authorities will be
involved in the initiative, which will last for 12 weeks. The 13 clubs involved
are Nottingham Forest, Southampton, Cardiff City, Swansea, Norwich City,
Coventry City, QPR, Brentford, Accrington Stanley, Huddersfield Town, Burnley,
Swindon Town and Wycombe Wanderers.
Coca-Cola wants to see recycling levels raised by four per
cent in the targeted communities.
