Between the 2002 and 2010 period, 85 percent of the new jobs were created by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the European Union – told the European Commission on Monday.
This value is significantly higher than the total ratio of 67 percent of the SMEs. In the SME category an average 1 percent increase occurred in employment, which is half a percentage point higher than the index of large companies – reports MTI.
