The STI group opened a new packaging plant in Romania

The western Romanian city of Kolozsvár became the home to the new new cardboard box factory of STI Group. While the production started in January 2010, the official ceremony took place just a few weeks ago.

Dr. Tom Giessler, who is one of the new executive director of the company considered the growing market flows as good signs on the handing over ceremony. Romania's large internal market and a key geographical position makes it one of Europe's potential growth market.
In the plant of the STI Packaging RO SRL, 30 employees work, their number intend to be doubled by 2011.
