Nearly a third of those working at home solve more tasks than in the office
According to one of the largest professional networking social platforms, by the end of the most difficult period of the pandemic, the number of remote work opportunities published by them increased more than tenfold, while employee surveys also show that 60% of people would prefer to work in a full home office.
Hybrid and remote working has therefore become a buzzword in the fight for employees. However, despite the undeniable advantages, there is still a certain degree of resistance and fear of losing control on the part of companies, especially in Hungary. The good news, however, is that with appropriate technological support, work processes can be more transparent and efficient, and new dimensions can open up in the fields of training, performance evaluation and working time management.
The pandemic undoubtedly brought an explosion in the field of home office and remote working, although according to experts, this change would have taken place anyway, the compelling external circumstances only accelerated the pace. Employees are happy: nearly three-quarters of them claim to be happier since they have the opportunity to do their tasks from home, and research shows that the easier transition between work and private life and the avoidance of the daily commute play a decisive role in this.
