Food trade and drugstores also benefited from the OTC turnover in Germany
The retail sales of nonprescription drugs and medicinal preparations (OTC) reached 8 billion euros in Germany last year. According to Nielsen market research company; this is a 2 percent increase compared to the previous year.
The terms of volume remained unchanged 1.362 billion pieces were sold in pharmacies, in online trade, in food stores and in drug stores.
It is notable that online sales increased in value by 14 in volume by by 21 percent, from one year to another. The canal’s revenues reached 639 million euros last year.
