The Mule

Öszvér (‘mule’) brings together two popular things: Czech beer and Hungarian pálinka. They serve 6 kinds of draught beer for HUF 400-550 and they sell 8 bottled beers for HUF 600-700. There is an abundance of pálinka in Öszvér: more than a hundred varieties are available in the HUF 650-1,600 price range. Food: special versions of fatty bread; utopenec, meat and sandwich plates can only be consumed if ordered in advance. n
