Austrian dairies are hardly keep up with the increasing production, the tanks are full especially with organic raw materials.
19 percent of the raw milk delivered in Austria is already belongs to the organic category. With increased supplier activity, it is resulting in a 10-15 percent increase in sales compared to last year.
The manufacturing industry cannot keep pace and it has pressured the price of organic-qualified milk. The largest dairy producer has cut its takeover bid by 10 percent for the previous months by 2017. The price of traditional milk also decreased, but to a lesser extent, by 9 percent.
