According to OPTEN, facilitating corporate transformation is a key issue
The BCSDH (Hungarian Business Council for Sustainable Development) presented the 2023 “Sustainable Future” awards.
In connection with sustainability, we can increasingly come across the term ESG, which is an abbreviation made up of the initial letters of the English equivalents of environmental, social and corporate sustainability. In the “Promotion of corporate transformation” category, OPTEN’s ESG service for SMEs was awarded. Its success was mainly due to the fact that, from January 2022, it prepares an ESG classification for the entire domestic company circle and enables the preparation of an automatic ESG report for the SME sector with its questionnaire. This will also give Hungary a serious competitive advantage in the European Union.
Nowadays, many people just skip over articles dealing with the topic of “sustainability”. They do this because they think the topic is “pushed too far”. It is a fact that when you search for the word “sustainability” in the online space, you get billions of results. It is no wonder that we need help to distinguish between news and fake news, and for credible experts to help highlight real, exemplary good practice.
The currently outlined sustainability reporting obligation consists of several areas.
