Online marketing blooming in Hungary
2008 saw a 7 percent increase in the amount of money spent on advertisements, with online marketing gaining a 10 percent part of the entire market – Hungarian Commercial Association pointed out.
In spite of the crisis, companies have
spent over 200,6 billion HUF on advertisements in Hungary, and the
market of online advertisements has seen a 43 percent increase. The
most successful channel of advertisent proved to be television, which
means 40 percent of the market. Cinema-advertisent is the weakest
field with its 0.4 percent in the market, however, internet has
gained a 10 percent part of the entire advertising market. Experts
are convinced that the crisis may bring about a 6 percent decrease,
especially printed ads will suffer from the consequence of the
crisis.
