Inflation remained at 1.3 percent in OECD countries
In the member states of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the annual growth rate of consumer prices was 1.3 percent in September, the same as in August.
In September, the decline in energy prices slowed to 6.5 percent after 7 percent in August, while the rise in food prices slowed from 3.8 percent to 3.6 percent.
In OECD countries, the inflation excluding food and energy prices in September was 1.7 percent after the 1.6 percent in August. (MTI)
